Energy Efficient Engineering by Industry Specialists
CCE was formed with a specific focus on the development of energy-efficient engineered solutions for industrial clients. The focus later expanded to also include renewable energy, process optimisation, new product development, root-cause failure analysis, advice on repairs and required modifications. CCE focuses on solutions to achieve Carbon Capture and Use (CCU) for clients enabling a strategy towards achieving zero carbon footprint.
OUR STORY
The directors of CCE met in 2009. Two of them were employed by a renewable energy company and the other was an MD of an engineering company.
In 2011, the first two formed a new company and registered CCE in 2015. This year, the director of the engineering company joined the team.

Over thirty-five years’ experience cementing footprints locally and internationally in the industry. Over and above business and project management, experience includes, detail engineering and design, fabrication / manufacturing and construction, maintenance and operations, commissioning, drafting of contracts and implementation of projects under NEC, PSC and ECC formats.
As, Technical Director later Managing Director in both MegChem and Transfab a substantial experience base was developed in detail engineering and design with the implementation of the actual work, either through Transfab or sub. Contractors as EPC or EPCm.
I was personally involved by acting as an Expert Advisor in several dispute resolution processes for major projects and clients. Hands-on experience with the commercial processes and negotiation of contracts for major projects, term contracts and acquisitions etc. were also gained.

Nico is a process engineer and Director at CCE. He is an experienced energy manager and energy solution provider and enjoys using his skills to contribute to exciting industry challenges applying technological advances in the world.
Nico graduated from the North-West University in 1986, completed an honours degree in energy studies at Johannesburg University in 1992 and qualified as a certified energy manager in 2002. He enjoys reading up on the latest developments in various energy generation and energy recovery-related developments.
His current focus is finding solutions for Carbon Capture and Use (CCU) that may enable taking companies to the next level regarding carbon footprint management.
